About Us
Sage Fabric & Design started as an idea between 2 sisters. Long country walks became the boardroom where the name, the logo, and even the colors for the brand were developed. It didn’t seem right to name the business after one of the sisters, so location became the focus. Although the sisters delay loved their beloved Rocky Mountains, if felt over used as a name. Rocky Mountains wasn’t quite right. Sage felt better. Sage is a shout out to the native sagebrush of the West. The color red found in the logo is the Indian paintbrush nestled near the sagebrush.
Natalie and Pamela have been sewing since before they entered Jr High school. They have been designing almost as long. What started with doll clothes moved into prom dresses, wedding dresses, quilts, and more. Although he sewing and quilting skills came self taught, the sisters are trained artists and teachers. Both sisters are graduates of Utah State University. They have won awards and are publishes designers. Between them they have 11 children. They loved raising their children, but now they cherish their grandma duties. And they love designing.
